SEO·GEO·One-off

SEO audit
of your website

We’ll call you back

SEO audit, what it tells you
before you spend on SEO.

An SEO audit tells you why the site does not rank, what to fix and in what order. Our SEO + GEO audit costs from €500 to €1,500 as a one-off, depending on the size of the site, and if you then choose an ongoing SEO program the initial audit is included.

It is an SEO analysis done by hand. We look at the site the way Google and AI engines see it, starting from the real Search Console data, and deliver a document with the fixes in order of priority, which you can have done by us or by whoever already looks after the site.

The audit is the first step of our SEO and GEO consulting. It is done by Federico Bianco, who has been building websites and online stores since 1999, so every recommendation is written by someone who also knows how to apply it in the code.

SEO audit and analysis of a website

What we check

What the SEO audit checks
in the website analysis

A well-done website audit does not stop at the technical side. Each area weighs differently depending on what you sell and how people search for you.

  • Technical setup and indexing

Which pages Google reads and which it ignores. Robots.txt, sitemap, canonicals, redirects and redirect chains, 404 and 5xx errors, duplicate pages, mobile version, HTTPS, URL structure.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP and CLS measured on real visitor data and not only in lab tests. Images, fonts, third-party scripts and plugins that slow the site down.

  • Content and pages

Weak pages or pages competing with each other for the same search, titles and descriptions, heading structure, duplicate content, answers that fall short of what people search for, missing pages.

  • Keywords and competitors

The searches that bring customers in your industry, the ones people find you for today and the ones where competitors show up instead of you. This is where the list of pages to improve and pages to create comes from.

  • Internal links and backlinks

How pages link to each other and which ones receive the most link equity. The profile of links from other sites, their quality, anchor texts, suspicious links to keep an eye on.

  • Structured data

Schema for the business, products, services, articles, FAQs and breadcrumbs, verified with Google’s tools. They serve both rich results and AI engines.

  • Search Console

Real impressions, clicks and rankings, pages in decline, searches where you sit on page two and could climb with little work, errors and warnings reported by Google.

  • Visibility in AI answers

Whether and how the site is cited when someone asks AI engines about your industry, and what is missing to get there. This is the GEO part of the audit, explained in the guide on what GEO is and how it works.

Ecommerce

SEO audit for online stores,
what we also check

An online store has problems a brochure website does not. Category filters generate thousands of near-identical URLs, product variants compete with each other, out-of-stock products stay indexed or disappear without a redirect, product pages copied from the supplier are identical to those of a hundred other stores.

In an online store audit we check the category structure, filters and pagination, product pages, product and offer structured data, out-of-stock handling and the connection with Google Merchant Center. We know WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento and Shopify from the inside, because they are the platforms we have been using for ecommerce development for years.

When you need it

When to do
an SEO audit

Traffic is dropping

Visits from Google are going down and you do not know whether it is an algorithm update, a technical error or your competitors. The audit separates the causes and tells you where to start.

Before rebuilding the site

A redesign or a platform change without analysis is the fastest way to lose rankings. The audit tells you which pages bring traffic and must be protected with redirects.

You change who handles SEO

Before handing the site to someone else, or continuing with whoever handles it today, you know what state it is really in and what has been done.

The site never takes off

The site has been online for a while but brings no inquiries. The cause is often simple, pages that do not answer what people search for or that Google does not index.

Method

SEO analysis done by hand
or an automatic report

Many online tools run a website analysis in a few minutes and return hundreds of warnings, all with the same weight. They are useful as a starting point and we use them too, from Screaming Frog to Search Console. The problem is that they do not know which pages bring you customers, or whether an error affects an important page or one nobody visits.

In our audit every problem gets a priority, based on how much it affects rankings and how much it costs to fix. First the things that block, then those that lift the pages already close to the first page, then the new content. The document is written so that even someone who does not do SEO for a living can use it.

You can run a first SEO check on your own, with Google’s tools. These four checks tell you whether the site has a serious problem. To understand what to fix first and how, you need the audit.

Indexed pages

In Search Console, in the page indexing report, look at how many pages are indexed, how many are excluded and why. If important pages are missing, that is where the problem is. Causes and remedies are in the guide on how to get a site indexed on Google.

Searches and rankings

In the performance report, sort searches by impressions. The ones where you appear between fifth and twentieth position are the first to work on.

Speed on phones

Test the main pages with PageSpeed Insights and look at real visitor data, not just the test score.

Titles and descriptions

Search for your site on Google and read titles and descriptions the way a customer sees them. If they are all alike or do not say what you sell, they need rewriting.

What you receive

What you receive
at the end of the audit

The document

The problems found, clearly explained, with the pages and data they refer to.

The priorities

Every fix gets a priority, based on how much it affects rankings and how much it costs to do.

The walkthrough call

We go through the audit together and answer the questions of whoever will work on it.

The next step

You can carry out the fixes yourself or hand them to us with an ongoing program.

Cost

How much does
an SEO audit cost

The SEO + GEO audit costs from €500 to €1,500 as a one-off. The price depends on the size of the site, the number of languages and how complex the catalog is, and we set it before starting, together with the delivery date. If after the audit you choose a one-year ongoing program, base from €900 to €1,500 or Pro from €1,500 to €3,000, the initial audit is included. On request, payment can be split into installments, with no interest.

If the audit shows that the site needs rebuilding, we tell you why and what is worth keeping. You can weigh it calmly on the page about website development, or start from the most urgent fixes with an SEO consultant who applies them directly.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions
about the SEO audit

What is an SEO audit?

It is a complete analysis of the site that tells you why it does not rank, what to fix and in what order. It checks technical setup and indexing, speed, content, keywords, links, structured data, Search Console data and, in our case, presence in AI answers. At the end you receive a document with the fixes in order of priority.

How can I analyze my website's SEO?

For a first check, Google's tools are enough. In Search Console you see which pages are indexed and which searches you appear for, PageSpeed Insights shows your speed on phones, then you search for your site on Google and read titles and descriptions the way a customer sees them. To know what to fix first, and why, you need an audit done by hand.

How much does an SEO audit cost?

The SEO + GEO audit costs from €500 to €1,500 as a one-off, depending on the size of the site. A brochure website sits at the lower end, an online store with thousands of products or a site in several languages at the upper end. In ongoing SEO programs the initial audit is included.

What do I receive at the end of the audit?

A document with the problems found, clearly explained, with the pages and data they refer to and the fixes in order of priority. We go through it together in a call, also with whoever will work on it. You can have the fixes done by whoever already looks after the site or hand them to us.

How often should you do an SEO audit?

Before a redesign or a migration, after a traffic drop you cannot explain and when you change who looks after the site. If the site keeps growing in pages and products, it is worth repeating once a year.

Is an automatic SEO analysis tool enough?

A tool finds technical errors and lists them all with the same weight. It does not know which pages bring you customers, which keywords matter in your industry or what is worth fixing first. We use the same tools, then read the results and set the priorities by hand.

Do you need access to Search Console?

Yes, it helps. It gives us the real data on impressions, clicks and rankings. If Search Console is not set up, we set it up for you.

Do you also audit online stores?

Yes. On an online store we also check categories, filters, product pages, variants, duplicate or out-of-stock products and product structured data.
